PRA International is one of the largest clinical research organizations with revenues of more than $100 million at the time of its sale in 2001 for $100 million.  PRA tests the safety and efficacy of new drugs for major pharmaceutical companies.  We were PRA’s first institutional investor.  Virginia Capital and its co-investors provided more than $20 million of equity to grow internally, acquire new operations, and redeem a founding shareholder.
