Virginia Capital's venture capital (VC) fund supplies capital to early stage companies led by talented management teams capable of sustaining that growth. In addition to infusing venture capital into cash-positive companies, we have also, occasionally, provided seed capital to promising startups. Included in our team are seasoned entrepreneurs who have acquired and sharpened the skills necessary for startup and young company success.

We focus our venture capital investments by region--within driving distance of our Richmond, Virginia home--and by industry--media & communications, healthcare, business & consumer services & insurance.

The ideal size of a Virginia Capital investment is between $1 million and $5 million. For certain opportunities, however, we have the ability to gather additional investment partners, thereby increasing total equity capital to around $20 million.
