With investors' capital committed until 2030, Virginia Capital is a flexible private equity firm. We look for investments in a variety of industries and have the ability to tailor transactions to fit the needs of our portfolio companies. Virginia Capital's investing capability is broad, including everything from expansion capital to a management buyout and anything in between. Our geographic focus is specific: we direct our investments toward opportunities near our Richmond, Virginia home. We also focus our private equity transactions by industry. Our expertise applies to media and communications, healthcare, business and consumer services and insurance companies.

The ideal size of a Virginia Capital investment is between $1 million and $5 million. For certain opportunities, however, we have the ability to gather additional investment partners, thereby increasing total equity capital to around $20 million.
