Founders' Capital

Virginia Capital has provided capital to proven entrepreneurs wishing to establish an enterprise in an industry with which we are familiar.  Concepts backed by strong management can be funded with the caveat that any endeavor should achieve profitability in short fashion.  Our fund has provided founders’ capital to proven entrepreneurs in a variety of businesses, including wireless communication towers, insurance and self-storage.

Shared Tower Sites

Shared Tower Sites was a new business seeking capital to build and acquire wireless communication towers.  The business had no revenues and no assets.  The operator had substantial experience operating companies in the tower industry.

VCP, which had prior experience in the tower industry, crafted a transaction that provided the entrepreneur with capital to build and acquire tower sites.  As the business expanded, VCP provided additional equity to further fuel growth.  Shared Tower Sites was sold in 2005 for almost three times invested capital.
