Joel is the most recent addition to Virginia Capital Partners. Joel began his professional investment career as an analyst for Waterside Capital Corporation, a publicly traded venture capital firm.  

Prior to entering into the investment world, Joel was a senior associate at Directpointe, an IT support company based in Utah. He also founded a consulting company that guided clients in developing and marketing online business ventures.

 Joel has experience in information technology, healthcare, and real estate.

 Joel received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in International Relations and Business Management.
